Meg's Famous Pike Bay Lasagna

Oven 400F.
Sauce
1lb hamburger. Yes, beef. Use chicken if you want, or no meat at all!! *shock*
1 can of spag sauce, any flavour, go ahead. Pick.
1 onion
1 green pepper
1 tsp. oregano

Do whatever you do to make your sauce. This is what I use. Adjust accordingly.

You will also need:

1 block(907 gm) of mozzarella cheese (slice off 18 thin slices for the top and shred the rest.)
12 lasagna noodles cooked according to package directions
Filling
Mix:
500ml. cottage cheese
1 egg
1 tsp. cilantro or chives
Salt and Pepper
1-8"x16" glass casserole
Assemble all ingredients.
Layer as follows:

Thin layer of sauce, 3 noodles, 1/3 the sauce, 1/3 the cheese, 3 noodles, filling,
cheese,noodles,sauce,cheese slices,remaining shredded cheese.
Bake 1/2 hr to 45 mins. till top is bubbly, or freeze. Cover with foil for first 20 min. if cooking from frozen.

Serve with a ceasar salad and Grandpa Thom's Great Garlic Spread* on warm Portugese rolls.
